The Taycan doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Audi A6 e-tron offers an optional Top View Cameras and it also offers an optional rear camera washer to make backing always safe, regardless of road dirt or grime, while the Porsche Taycan doesn’t offer a camera washer, requiring manual cleaning.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the A6 e-tron can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Taycan doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the A6 e-tron’s wheelbase is 1.9 inches longer than on the Taycan (116.1 inches vs. 114.2 inches).

The design of the Audi A6 e-tron amounts to more than styling. The A6 e-tron has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .23 Cd. That is lower than the Taycan (.23 to .28) and many sports cars. A more efficient exterior helps keep the interior quieter and helps the A6 e-tron get better fuel mileage.

For excellent aerodynamics, the A6 e-tron has standard flush composite headlights. The Taycan has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag.

Because it has more passenger and cargo room, the EPA rates the A6 e-tron a Large car, while the Taycan is rated a Compact.

The A6 e-tron has 9 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Taycan (98 vs. 89).

The A6 e-tron has .3 inches more front headroom, 1.8 inches more front shoulder room, .8 inches more rear headroom, 3 inches more rear legroom and 4.1 inches more rear shoulder room than the Taycan.

The A6 e-tron has a much larger trunk with its rear seat up than the Taycan (26 vs. 17.3 cubic feet).

If the windows are left open on the A6 e-tron the driver can close them all at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Taycan can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The A6 e-tron Premium Plus/Prestige has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Taycan doesn’t offer headlight washers.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the A6 e-tron has standard extendable sun visors. The Taycan doesn’t offer extendable visors.
